Quilt For Conner

As some of you may know, I love making quilts for the people I love. So when Shoni, my friend Tonya's friend from grade school, had a baby, I saw an excuse to make another quilt. When Tonya was getting her degree in education she had a class that required her to learn how to do something new. Tonya asked me to teach her how to quilt, which I gladly did. Tonya and I made this quilt together for Shoni's new beautiful baby Conner.

Conner's daddy, Nathan is a pilot for the Air Force (he chases hurricanes and flies the plane through it, crazy!) so we tried to go for an airplane theme. Crazy enough, with all the millions of available prints of fabric there were no airplanes! We had to settle for helicopters...Turns out it was a hit with mom, so next up is something for Conner's older brother Tyler. Aww, gee, darn, I have to help make another quilt. P.S. If this quilt looks sort of familiar, Madi, it's because it's from the same pattern as the one I made for you. Amazing how something the same can also look so different!
