This weekend Isaac spent all day Saturday hanging out with Paul. It's a new thing for us all to be off on the weekends together. I went to my friend Heidi's house to scrapbook and the boys spent part of the day geocaching/hiking and the other part at the park. For those of you who don't know, geocaching starts by downloading the coordinates of a cache into your GPS (global positioning system), then you hike to the location of the cache and open it to retrieve your treasure/trinket. You leave behind a trinket for the next geocacher. For Isaac it was a good chance to do some treasure hunting as well as some hiking, doesn't get much better than that!

The big bummer is that there was nothing in the cache!!! Isaac was so bummed that he had to call me almost in tears. Luckily, they still got a hike in and then moved onto the park where they played soccer and Pokemon (however you do that!). I am so excited for all of us now that we have the chance to be able to do cool stuff like this with each other. Next up, camping we hope! We have a long weekend in February (we get Rodeo Break here in the wild wild West!) so hopefully we can get a little camping done somewhere nearby and not too cold!
